Channel with Bette and Thia

On Tuesday, August 5 we patrolled Zone three omitting Paige Brook. The took the eastern shore and Bette paddled the western shore starting at Bette's dock. Floating Heart, White Waterlily, Yellow Waterlily, Watershield, Floating Pondweed, Pipewort, Three-way Sedge Spike Rush, Pickerelweed, freshwater mussels and bladderwort with yellow flower and some with purple flower, Grassy Spike Rush. I took home some samples of Bladderwort to familiarize myself with varieties. I think we agreed we saw harmless green algae along the causeway area in the channel. Nothing suspicious.

Neither of our maps properly tracked us, so we will be sure that is corrected before our next patrol. A great morning!
