Use Your IRA to Make a
Tax-Smart Gift
If you are 70½ or older, you can minimize taxes by making qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) - tax free donations directly from a traditional IRA. If you are 73 or older, the amounts can help satisfy RMDs. In addition to avoiding paying income tax on your distribution, there is the added benefit of supporting CLCA with your gift.
CLCA depends on you and all of our neighbors to help support and fund our efforts to preserve Conway Lake in its pristine condition for generations to come. Please become a member and support our work.
Our annual membership dues are $50 but that covers less than 20% of our annual expenses. Our most substantial financial commitment is dedicated to sustaining the Lake Host Program, which plays a pivotal role in safeguarding Conway Lake. Any additional donation you are able to make is very much appreciated.
