Native Milfoil in Paige Brook

Delayed post. When we were out on the pontoon boat on September 16th, we noticed large patches of native milfoil in Paige Brook in Grid 27. We grabbed a piece that was floating and made sure that it was native. I remember being a bit concerned at exactly this time last year as the milfoil plants are quite large and much more visible now that the bladderwort has died back. At that time Don Y. confirmed that it was indeed native milfoil.

Nice! that large a group of Native Milfoil is so cool to see with its eerie pinky-red presence. Can understand your double-take. Thanks for posting that Tim.
