Interesting Little Find

I found this interesting little plant on a log on the edge of Turtle Cove in Zone 1 (along the north side of Dolloff Island). It is a round-leaved sundew (Drosera rotundifolia), a carnivorous flowering plant (tiny white flowers) that grows in wetlands. The leaves create a sticky residue at the tips, capturing and digesting insects.
