Maria and I completed a sweep of Zone 7 on Saturday, July 26.

We saw an abundance of native Elodea in Dean’s Cove, a small patch of Water marigold, and beautiful lilies in all three colors.

Lots of Native Naiad too. In Wiley Brook Cove we spotted plenty of Native Milfoil and Water Primrose but couldn’t find the Coontail that Maria had seen earlier in the season. It's hiding. Something to search for the next time.

One on the left is Maria's with 3 patrols recorded on one map: 2 patrols she did earlier in the past week PLUS the one we did together. That one includes her patrol to the most northern part of zone 7 and shows more patrolling inside Dean's Cove. My map on the right shows where we lingered to find another sample of the Water Marigold from the spot where Maria had first found it. I also reached the farthest west bottom corner of zone 7 where it meets up with zone 8.
