Had hoped to patrol more but the weather just did not cooperate. On July 6th did survey grids 3674 and 3673 and saw nothing suspicious. Lots of Bladderwort with those "green furry heads" as Maria describes them, Grassy Spike Rush in abundance, Pickerel Weed not yet in flower, Floating Heart, lots of Yellow and White Water Lillies although most with their blossoms eaten by the Canada Geese. The emerging Floating Bur Reed looked a bit like Tape Grass but saw a few plants with the characteristic long trailing floating leaves.
