While walking along the road at the eastern end of Paige Brook earlier this week I noticed some invasive Purple Loosestrife plants near the water's edge. Having confirmed the identification with Maria and Don, Bill and I will now proceed to carefully remove them. Since there are reportedly millions of seeds per plant we will first remove and bag the flowering spikes, then remove the plants. Hopefully it will at least minimize the spread.
