Last swing thru Zone 6 and bottom of 5

Took advantage of the bright sun and still morning waters to venture out into zones that few people have been able to patrol this summer. Seeing that I figured I could take a swing through, especially to have almost the entire lake patrolled for 2025.

There was barely anything beyond the lake grasses, leftover remnants of Pickeral weeds and hardy Pipeworts. What looked like Aquatic moss turned out to be decaying leaves.  The extent of the sandy delta (grids 163 snd164) continues to be impressively wide and very shallow. It was not possible to clear the large middle section with my kayak.
