July 12 2025 South Cove, Zones 11 and 10

Today's survey of 2.14 miles showed, two loons and 1 chick, a belted kingfisher, deer drinking and cooling off in the cove, black snake sunning, 3 sliders and lots of native aquatic vegetation. The West lakeshore of Zone 10 has far less aquatic vegetation at this time.
