Finally got to zone 13!

I was finally able to get out on the water and patrol all of zone 13 on Tuesday. It was a bit overcast, but calm winds, so visibility was pretty good. And I am happy to report all looks well, no signs of any invasives. I rowed my son's old aluminum row boat, and I am convinced it's the best approach for me...I can bring all the field guides, equipment, water and snacks! (And pretty low risk of me falling in the water.) I will try make another patrol in the fall.
